15-5 is a precipitation-hardening martensitic stainless steel similar to 17-4 with greater toughness. It’s used in a variety if industries including aerospace and petrochemical. Fast Lane has a lot of experience with this material. We have made several different 15-5 parts on all our machines, from the 5 axis mill down to our 12mm Swiss machine.
